Layoffs

Layoffs almost seem inevitable now. I did get a raise and bonus this year, but I think it is quite likely that there will be layoffs at my company within the next few months.

Executives hate to be the only ones at the club who can't brag about how many people they have cut. So few of them can think for themselves that it is always safer for them to follow the herd, even if they don't have to.
